 :: Biography سيره ذاتيه :
Upon graduating from the Faculty of Tourism, Tour Guide Section, Dalia El Behery El Behery worked as both a tour guide and a presenter in the Egyptian Satellite Channel. She also made a name for herself as a model and was finally named Miss Egypt in 1990.
It was then that she invaded the field of video clips and accepted to appear in a song performed by Aly El Haggar. Then her big chance came when she met the famous director Ra'fat El-Mehey while preparing for one of her television programs. Not long after, he sent her the script of the movie Alashan Rabena Yehebak in 2000. The young model accepted the role and invaded the silver screen. But she didn't accept any other roles until the film Mohamy Khole’ came her way in 2002. Dalia El Behery shared the spotlight in the film with the famous stars Hany Ramzy and Ola Ghanem. Her chance on television was a little late though. It was not until the year 2003 that Dalia El Behery appeared on television with a role in Al Banat. In the series, she appeared alongside Omar El Hariry, Samira Abdel Aziz and Hisham Selim among others.
The year 2004 brought further success to the still young actress. Her new film Sana Oula Nasb, in which she starred alongside Khaled Selim, Nour and Ahmed Ezz was a significant hit in the Egyptian Box office. Encouraged by the success of her cooperation with Khaled Selim, Dalia El Behery accepted a role in another film alongside the famous singer. The film Kan Yom Hobak is due soon in the theaters but no date has been set for its release yet.
Dalia El Behery is also busy off the set. Her hobbies are horseback riding and attending salsa and art classes. As for her family, Dalia El Behery has one elder sister and two younger brothers. She is also an animal lover and that shows from her various pets; a parrot, three cats and two birds. Her role models are many and include Souad Hosny, Nadia Lotfy, Ahmed Zaki and Naguib El Rihany.
