 :: Biography سيره ذاتيه :
Not content with just having the talent to act, Donya decided to enroll in the High Cinema Institute, directing department and managed to graduate with an excellent degree. But that was not how things started for the young actress; she took her first steps in show business when she was still 10 years old. It was then that Donya appeared in the film Sera'a El-Zawgat with her mother's friend; actress Dalal Abdel Aziz. That was followed by two other roles when she was older; in Ahwal Shakhseya and Al-Garage alongside Naglaa Fathy. It was this last film that actually turned a few heads towards the rising actress.
Shortly after, Donya joined the High Cinema Institute and remained away from the spotlights in order to concentrate on her studies and on developing her skills. Once she graduated, she returned in 2002, with a remarkable role in the television series Banat Afkary alongside the late actor Mahmoud Morsy. She didn't stop there though; she was full of energy and was making up for lost time. Donya then got a role in yet another television series in the same year, this time Fares Bela Gawad with Mohamed Sobhy.
It was now time to invade the silver screen once again and that she did! She appeared alongside the famous comedian Adel Emam in Amir El-Zalam in 2002. In 2003 she appeared in two films; Kalem Mama alongside Abla Kamel and Kasakes Al-Oshak, alongside Hussein Fahmy and Nabila Ebeid. Donya never got too occupied with the silver screen though; there was always time for the television. She appeared again in Al-Banat in 2003 with director Ahmed Yehia and then Zinat we Al-Talat Banat with Fardous Abdel Hamid and Farouk El-Fishawy in 2004.
As for her roles for the silver screen this year, Donya played a leading role in two films; Halet Hob and Ashtatan Ashtout. Both films are currently playing in cinemas. But this young star is just getting started; so more is yet to come!
